  • Fewer files to distribute: 19 → 10 files. The components and templates used are now included in the main exe.
  • Record logs / Hide names in the logs: turn them on or off under "Tool" → "Log". When names are hidden, folder and user names are recorded as codes such as D0001 and U0001 (the table of codes stays on the PC). → Manual (Japanese)
  • The software license agreement in the Help menu is now a PDF in the display language.
  • Bug fixes: "Address" was cut off in the English display; selecting a row in the list of permissions stopped with a message while the screen was locked, and others.

  • Unused accounts (check and remove): checks AD for disabled accounts, accounts that have not logged on for a long time, and accounts in a specified OU, and lists the permissions left on them. Exclude the accounts to keep, confirm with a 4-digit number, then remove. A removal report is saved automatically. Also available from the command line (/unused). → Feature description
  • Bug fixes: changes such as "Delete Row" were sometimes not applied with "OK", for example right after selecting a folder. Paths with \\?\ were shown in the "Replace child objects" window.
  • Screenshots in chapters 6, 7, 8 and 10 of the manual were replaced with the current screens.

  • Go to a folder from the address bar: type a path (such as C:\Share or \\server\share\dept) and press Enter to go to that folder. Paths copied from Explorer work as they are.
  • Domain servers: the tree shows the Active Directory servers and their shared folders, so you can open file servers without typing server names.
    
  • Output inherited: when off, folders and files with the same permissions as their parent (inherited only) are left out. Only the places where permissions are set individually remain, and the number of rows drops sharply (example: 2,705 rows → 19 rows). Also available from the command line (/omitinherited).
    
  • Progress of OK and output: when applying changes is likely to take a long time, the number of items and an estimate of the time are shown first. While processing, the elapsed time, the number of items and an estimate of the remaining time are shown.
  • Logs for support: under "Tool" → "Log", you can save logs as a zip file with user and folder names replaced by codes.
  • Folders that are added or removed are reflected automatically; file type icons; reorganized options on the Output tab; a new look for dialogs; "Replace (child objects)".
  • Bug fixes: the command ended abnormally when /file was omitted with /dir; moving with the address bar stopped when folder prefetch was on, and others.

  • Audit report (changes in permissions): compares two permission outputs and lists the changes in permissions, owners, inheritance and folders. Also available from the command line (/diff). → Report example
    
  • Effective access of user: lists the folders on which the user has permissions, directly or through the groups they belong to (including nested groups). Also available from the command line (/access). → Report example
  • Deleted accounts (list and remove): finds the permissions left behind, confirms with a 4-digit number, then removes them. A removal report is saved automatically. Also available from the command line (/orphan). → Report example
    
  • The same list of permissions as Explorer: the order, the "Access" and "Inherited from" columns, and switching between basic and advanced are now the same as in Explorer. Column headings are on one horizontal line for easier reading.
    
  • File list operations: sort by column, right-click for "Open in Explorer" and "Properties", and Backspace / Alt+← to go to the parent folder.
  • A new look: new fonts, flat buttons and a light color scheme. Text stays sharp at higher display scaling (125%, 150%).

  • Reverse Lookup (User) sheet: lists, for each account, the folders / files on which permissions are set directly. The grant type (Set directly / Set directly + inherited / Inherited only) is also shown.
  • When the row limit is exceeded, output stops and you are notified. From the command line, this can be detected by exit code 3.
