Backups go to your PC, NAS or in-house file server (and from v3, your own Azure or Amazon S3). Your data is not handed to an overseas cloud, and costs do not grow with data volume. Made for government, finance and manufacturing, where information must not leave the organization.
Backups are saved as files, without conversion. You can open them and take out a single file without any special tool or vendor service, so there is never a "we can't get it back" moment.
From the second run, only what changed is read. In ver 2.0.6, now in development, a backup with no changes went from 38 seconds to 2 seconds (in-house measurement). We always show speed in numbers.
The interface, manual and support are in Japanese. Just download and place it to start, with no sales meeting required. Prices are published. Japanese file names and names with symbols are tested.
In-house measurement (November 2026, development build): a site with 8 lists, 5,690 items and 460 files, parallel degree 2. Times vary with data volume, network and SharePoint load.
Put files and lists saved by EOB back into SharePoint, to the original location or another library, choosing to overwrite, rename or skip when a name already exists. Created and modified dates, and in the same site also created by and modified by, are restored. Available first from the command line, then from the screen. Full restore including permissions comes in v3. In the development build, we restored a 5,200-item list in 2 min 17 s (parallel degree 4) and 455 files in about 2 min 40 s, and confirmed that every item matches the original (in-house measurement).
Lists that have not changed are skipped without being read, and changed lists are read only for the items and files changed since the last backup (using SharePoint's change log, so deletions and renames are detected too). Attachment lists are fetched in bulk. Next, "prefetching" the information to be read next will also shorten the first backup.
With a single administrator sign-in, EOB will create the certificate, register the app in Microsoft Entra ID and set the required permissions automatically. It then checks the connection and explains anything missing in plain language.
Column definitions such as display names and types will also be saved, and dates and users will be kept in an exact format. You will also be able to choose CSV output that opens directly in Excel.
For company-wide use: no limit on installations, maintenance included (upgrade to v3 at no extra cost), priority support, setup assistance and an annual check-up in one edition. Price to be decided. See the pricing page
From "keeping files on hand" to a tool that protects, restores and migrates SharePoint as a whole.
Put backed-up files and lists back into the original site or another site. You will be able to choose a site, library, folder or single file, and choose to overwrite, rename or skip when an item with the same name exists.
In addition to files, all metadata will be saved: permissions on document libraries and lists, IDs, column values, created by, modified by, dates and more. Restores will bring back the original state.
Not just the contents of files and lists, but the site structure itself: subsites, list and library settings, columns, views, content types, permissions and more.
Browse, search and view backed-up lists and document libraries in a SharePoint-like interface, without connecting to SharePoint.
Move content between sites or within a site, and move list items and files, while keeping metadata, permissions and version history. Pause and resume where you left off, and from the second run only changes are moved, so even large migrations finish quickly. Useful for reorganizations and site cleanup.
Before migrating, list size, item counts, path lengths, invalid characters, permission complexity, external sharing and stale files. Built from your local backup, so it puts no load on SharePoint and can be produced again and again in moments.
Find and list files and sites that are "visible to everyone", "shared externally" or "without an owner". Useful for tidying up information you do not want Copilot or other AI to surface. Analysis runs on your PC and data never leaves your hands. Combine with our FAD (File Authority Designer) to fix what you find.
Regularly check that you can really restore from your backups, and turn the results into a report you can use as evidence for audits and BCP (business continuity planning).
Back up every user's OneDrive at once. Preserve the OneDrive of people who leave before their accounts are deleted.
Keep daily, weekly and monthly generations (generations past the retention period are deleted automatically), and save to destinations that cannot be overwritten or deleted (Azure immutable storage, Amazon S3 Object Lock) or to locations disconnected from the network. Even if your data is encrypted, you can go back to "last week".
In addition to SharePoint and OneDrive, we plan to back up Exchange Online email, Teams chats and channels, Planner and Microsoft Entra ID to your own premises in the same way (scope under consideration).
Compare with the previous backup to spot mass deletions, mass rewrites and changes in file extensions, and alert you right away. Combined with backup generations, you can go back to the state before the damage.
You will be able to choose Azure Blob Storage or Amazon S3 as a destination. Just register an access key, and you can also save to low-cost archive storage (Azure Cool and Archive tiers, Amazon S3 Glacier and others).
Manage SharePoint and OneDrive backups, their settings and their lifecycle, such as generations and retention periods, from the web edition through an agent. Schedules, run status, history and restores will all be handled on screen. We plan to offer a SaaS edition running in our cloud and an on-premises edition running on your servers. It will be built on Exment, our web database.
Rebuilt on the latest .NET (LTS) to speed up communication and processing further. It will be distributed in a form that does not require installing .NET, so it can also run on Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
Save not only the latest version of each file but also earlier versions, so that you can retrieve any version.
List the files added, changed or deleted since the previous backup. You can also notice unusual activity, such as mass deletions or changes.
Receive the results of automatic backups (success, failure, skipped files) by email.
Pick Teams teams and channels from a list and back up the channel files.
Save backups encrypted and compressed (cloud destinations are now covered by "Backup to cloud storage" in v3).
Switch the log detail level from the window and the command line, and output a summary of counts, time and errors at the end. You will also be able to create an anonymized log for support, for faster responses to inquiries.
